Learn More About Us!
The Bitterroot Valley of Montana is just like everywhere else. Lots of people love Jesus, lots more are interested in God. But for some, the traditional form of church just doesn’t match the “wiring” of their heart. Our goal is to help people find or form a community of faith that honors Jesus, but might be non-traditional in its format or structure - Fresh Expressions of church - here in the Bitterroot Valley.
Fresh Expressions of the Bitterroot is an initiative sponsored by Florence Carlton Community Church and Mission Northwest. Find out more about our partners at their websites linked here.
What Is Fresh Expressions Of The Bitterroot?
What Are Fresh Expressions?
We all have hobbies, practices, and daily routines in our lives. What would they look like if they became forms of church?
A fresh expression is a form of church for our changing culture, established primarily for the benefit of those who are not a part of any church.

Meet Corey Skeers!
Pastor Corey Skeers directs the mission of Fresh Expressions of the Bitterroot.
My family and I have lived in the Bitterroot Valley since August 1, 2006. My wife Cynthia and I have two grown children who graduated from Florence Carlton High School. GO FALCONS! We have attended Florence Carlton Community Church since circa 2007. We have grown in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ as we continue on a life-changing journey with Him. I am excited to be a part of what God is doing in the Bitterroot Valley through Fresh Expressions of gathering and worshipping Him wherever people gather together in community.
